Marvin H. Lott Hardwood floors was established in April 1973. Marvin after working for another flooring contractor for 22 years and raising 3 children had decided to make a bold move and start his own business. Even with Marvin’s knowledge in hardwood floors and strong work ethic he couldn’t do it on his own. As they say behind every great man there is a woman and with his loving wife Joan they created a business that is still going strong today with the third generation being groomed for tomorrow.

In 1985 the company was incorporated and added & Son to the name. Tim Lott started installing and refinishing floors with his father in 1977. Helping the business to grow to what it is today by contracting with homeowners and the best builders, contractors and kitchen company’s in the area. Tim has brought the company to a new level over the years. The recession of 2008 brought changes to the company, Marvin and Joan retired and Tim took full control.

With 43 years in the business, Tim continues to improve the trade with innovative designs colors and ideas. Today with all employees in house, Tim has control over the workmanship and strives to do the best job possible for every customer. As the third generation learns the trade Stephen in the field and Maggie behind the books, the business started by Marvin and Joan Lott will continue to prosper in the future.
